all Welcome to uSplit! By using our app, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using uSplit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any amendments. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

uSplit is an application designed to help users split bills and total expenses among group members. The app allows users to split expenses equally or based on individual spending.

3. User Accounts

• Sign-Up: Users can sign up by providing their name, email, and/or phone number.
• Local Use: Users have the option to use the app locally without signing up. In this mode, no user data will be stored on our servers.
• Account Deletion: Users can delete their account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, all user data will be permanently removed from our servers.

4. Privacy Policy

• Data Collection: When signing up, we collect your name, email, and phone number.
• Data Usage: Your data is used solely for providing you services. We do not use your data otherwise. We do not send marketing emails.
• Data Sharing: We do not share your data with any third parties.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to misuse the app, including but not limited to:

• Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the app’s functionality.
• Attempting to access other users’ data without permission.

6. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the app or any part thereof with or without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

uSplit shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
